High-Touch Oversight

All mentor placements and research pathways are reviewed by our Director of Research. Progress is monitored closely to ensure depth, clarity, and integrity throughout the process.

Catalyst Scholars was founded by Shahar Link, who brings over 25 years of experience in academic mentorship, test preparation, and college advising. With a Master’s degree from Stanford University and a long-standing engagement with high-achieving students, he has worked closely with families navigating competitive academic pathways.

Years spent evaluating academic work and guiding students through selective admissions processes have shaped a clear conviction: meaningful scholarship emerges from disciplined mentorship and intellectual honesty. Catalyst Scholars was built around that principle.
