Catalyst Scholars offers three structured research pathways, each designed around sustained mentorship, intellectual rigor, and meaningful academic contribution.

Research Intensive

12 Weeks | $2,800

A focused, high-impact research experience designed for motivated students with a defined area of interest.

Students work one-on-one with a PhD or postdoctoral mentor to refine a research question, conduct disciplined inquiry, and produce a polished 15–25 page research paper.

Includes:

  • Weekly 1:1 mentor sessions

  • Structured research roadmap

  • Literature review guidance

  • Two full draft revisions

  • Final written paper

Ideal for students ready to execute a serious project within a defined timeframe.

Scholar Fellowship

20 Weeks | $4,900

An extended mentorship designed for students seeking deeper inquiry and competitive academic distinction.

Students develop a substantial research project, with opportunity for empirical work, journal submission, or competition entry where appropriate.

Includes:

  • Weekly 1:1 mentor sessions (extended duration)

  • Research proposal development

  • Advanced methodology guidance

  • Three to four revision cycles

  • Submission strategy support

Designed for students aiming to build a meaningful academic portfolio.

Research Distinction Program

12 Months | $11,900

A year-long intellectual apprenticeship for students seeking sustained scholarly development.

This program supports ambitious, multi-phase research projects with the potential for conference presentation or journal submission. Mentorship extends beyond the paper to intellectual formation and academic positioning.

Includes:

  • Weekly mentor sessions

  • Summer research intensive phase

  • Ongoing revision and refinement

  • Submission to 1–2 journals or competitions (as appropriate)

  • Public presentation event

  • Quarterly strategy reviews with the Director of Research

Enrollment in this program is limited.

All students complete the Catalyst Match™ assessment prior to placement to ensure intellectual and mentorship alignment.
